Morris Farm Market
A Night of Modern Americana — Full Band, Big Harmonies
Little Hopes is an Atlanta-based Americana/country-rock band led by songwriters Sydney Rhame and Brock Shanks, built on their vocal harmonies and storytelling. Their songs have taken them from intimate listening rooms to shared bills with nationally recognized artists, including Old Crow Medicine Show — the Grammy-winning folk powerhouse famous for “Wagon Wheel”; Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke; The SteelDrivers; Shovels and Rope; and John Paul White of The Civil Wars.
This show brings the full band, turning the songs of their debut album Georgia into a bigger, fuller night of country-rock, folk and roots: the same harmonies and storytelling, with the whole band behind them. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering them for the first time, it’s a night of memorable music best heard live.
Morris Farm Market
Morris Farm Market has been a Currituck County landmark since Walton and Ginger Morris started selling sweet corn from the back of a pickup truck. Today it’s a several-hundred-acre family farm on the road to the Outer Banks — and, as Back 40 Live, one of the region’s busiest music stages. Little Hopes bring the full band to the Farm Bar Stage for a free Saturday-afternoon show. Come early, grab lunch from the food trucks and a drink from the farm bar, browse the market, and settle in for Little Hopes at Noon.
